Just to clarify, none of these inventory limits need to be known during play – they only apply at the end of the rest action.
Prime stats of a hero are never directly modified; for example, you can’t level up your LORE attribute.
From time to time you may get a temporary buff or modifier for a specific type of skill check; for example, -1 MOD to SHADOW skill checks. This is the closest you get to a stat modification.
There are no derived secondary skills; for example, combining stats to form a secondary stat. Inventory limits are close but only referenced at the end of the rest action. And I think we can eliminate the need for any calculation by having a “break camp” statement.
A lot of things you might ordinarily track on a character sheet don’t need to be tracked on purpose:
- no gold
- experience as memory discard and tracking cubes
- equipment cards; an abstract resource for ordinary gear
- etc
I’m trying hard to not have a character sheet ![]()
